METAL DIVISION

We Operate through our Metal Processing Yards in Dammam 3 Yard, Riyadh, and Hafar Al-Batin, which are fully equipped with necessary machines, such as loaders, grabs, hydraulic shearing machines, press machines, and weighbridges.

Ferrous scrap delivered to our yards is segregated per international standards and supplied to SABIC. This process involves strict quality control standards to achieve the requirements of our customers. We also provide containers or visit customers on a regular basis with fully equipped roll-on roll-off vehicles to collect scrap steel from industries. We have contracts with suppliers to remove scrap steel regularly or by purchasing the total quantity.

Shredder 80 SxS

Al Sale acquired the 80 SXS shredder machine, which has a nameplate of 216,000 metric tons per year. The 80 SXS provides a competitive advantage for the company by positioning itself as the only ferrous scrap dealer capable of providing shredder scrap still to mills; the other scrap shredder within Saudi Arabia has a capacity of 60,00 Finish Products per year.
Currently, All Sale depends on the scrap shredding capabilities, but with complementary investment, can further extend its segregation process into non-ferrous material. The recovery of other metals such as aluminum, zinc, or copper as by-products of the recycling process can increase the operational gross margin. Average numbers in the United States estimate a non-ferrous recovery rate between 4% and 5% of the manufacturing.
